When you hire a campervan from us you can be sure it is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised throughout. We recommend you pre book your campsite/s at the same time as booking your campervan.
Collection and drop off days are Monday and Friday however, on the odd occasion, we may be able to accommodate an alternative day by prior arrangement.
July and August are 7 nights minimum hire only.

Jo and Roger Bateman are the original owners of the company who decided to swap their touring motorcycle for their first VW Campervan, as they thought holidaying around the country looked like fun. They were not disappointed! There is nothing like the freedom of travelling and being able to camp in all manner of different places.
Their understanding and knowledge grew and they were keen to share their experience with others.
Jo and Roger now feel it is time to hand over the reins to Lucy and Chris who themselves are regular campers. They are keen to take on the challenge of running West Country VW Camper Hire and take it that bit further.

We want to ensure you have the best experience with us so our VW campervans come with all the equipment you will need for an exciting and relaxing camping holiday. From our base in Meare near Glastonbury, Somerset, just off the A303 we are perfectly situated for you to collect your VW campervan on the way deeper into the West Country.
We will give you an introduction to your campervan and an explanation of how everything works. We recommend watching the video before leaving for your break to save you time on collection. (This will be emailed to you upon booking)
Your campervan will come with cooking equipment, crockery, cutlery, table, chairs, awning and other available items such as bike rack and a BBQ can be hired. Your campervan and everything in it, will be thoroughly sanitised/clean and in good order. We just ask that you return everything to us in the same condition for the next family to use. You will be able to leave your car with us where it will be safe until you return.
