Our full Terms and Conditions can be found by clicking Full Terms-and-Conditions.
Hire Periods. Our collection and return days are Mondays and Fridays and Camper hire periods are; Low and Mid-season – 3, 4, 7 or 10 day hires only, and High season are a full week (7 day) hire only. Please see our booking calendar.
Collection & Return. Our collection times are between 2pm and 4pm on the first day of your hire. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred time but on occasions we may ask you to collect at a specific time. We ask you to allow up to an hour when you arrive, to go through the final and necessary paperwork and ensure you know how everything works. We ask you to please visit our YouTube channel which shows all the features of your camper and urge you to watch them all to familiarise yourself with the content. This will help reduce the time you need to spend with us before leaving for your holiday!
Return times are between 9am and 10.30am on the last day of your hire. On your return we will carry out a full vehicle inspection with you and complete the relevant hire paperwork. It is vital that you arrive back to our site on time as we need plenty of time to prepare the campervan for the next hirer. If you have an emergency which has made you unavoidably late, we ask that you keep us informed so we can do the relevant paperwork and keep you legal.
When collecting your campervan, we will ask for your preferred return time and ask you to ensure you to adhere to this time.
We will do our best to accommodate your preferred collection and drop off times but on occasions, we may ask you to come at a specific.
Payments & Deposits. (All rates and prices include VAT at the current rate) A deposit payment of £150 (non-refundable booking fee) must be paid at the time of making the booking, this will hold your chosen camper for the dates selected. This can be paid online using a debit or credit card or by bank transfer, bank details will be emailed to you with the booking form if you have not paid online. If your hire period is less than 6 weeks in advance of your hire start date, then payment will need to be made in full including any extras at the time of booking.
The final balance due for hire and all Optional Extras needs to be made at least 6 weeks (42 days) before the hire commencement, we will send you an email highlighting the amount due a few days before to remind you.
It is a requirement of our hire conditions and our insurance policy to ask you to lodge a Security Deposit of £750 for your camper. This must also be paid 1 week before the hire commencement if paying by a bank transfer or if you wish to do a pre-authorised payment using a credit/debit card you can pay this online or on the morning that you collect your camper. This security deposit covers any damage to the campers interior, insurance excess, driving fines or penalties and any extra cleaning surcharges. As long as the camper is returned from hire undamaged and clean, your security deposit will be returned to you within 7 working days. For a full description of this please refer to our Terms and Conditions page.
Cancellations. If you should need to cancel your hire booking the following applies. Cancellations between the time of confirmed reservation and 6 Weeks (42 days) before the rental period will forfeit the full £150 deposit. Cancellations between 6 weeks (42 days) and 7 days of start of the rental period 50% of the hire charges will be returned. For cancellations less than 7 days before the hire period commences 100% of the hire charges will be forfeited. However, should we be able to re-hire the camper to cover the cancelled period we will refund you accordingly less the £150 booking fee. We do recommend that you take out a private holiday insurance policy to cover you for any cancellations. Should you wish to move your booking to another date please contact us and we will see what we can do.
Mileage – We want you to enjoy your time away but ask that you limit your mileage to 1500 miles per hire. We believe this is a reasonable very restriction but a charge of 20p per mile over this allowance will be made. Our campers are not permitted to leave the UK mainland (except the Channel Islands) as our insurance does not cover overseas travel. If you wish to travel outside the UK, please contact us before booking.
Insurance. Included in your hire charge is fully comprehensive insurance cover for 1 driver. A 2nd driver can be added for £7 per day. The policy excess is £750 so in the event of any accident or damage to the camper, the hirer will be liable for the first £750. Items not covered by the policy are as follows; damaged tyres, engine following damage or any parts of the camping interior and equipment or cab area. We do not provide cover for any personal items, so we recommend you take out your own travel insurance/insurance from a reputable company to cover personal effects and cancellation charges. Late return of the vehicle will invalidate the hirer’s insurance and will be an offence under the Road Traffic Act. We highly recommend you take out a separate collision damage waiver insurance to protect your £750 deposit.
Drivers age. Our insurance policy allows us to hire our campers to people aged between 23 – 75 with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
Points on Licence. We can allow 1 minor speeding offences or similar within our insurance. We may still be able to hire to drivers with more points on their license although our insurers will apply an extra cost to you. Please contact us with details for us to get a costing for you.
Identification.
We will require a copy of your UK driving license and a recent household bill in your name that has the same address as your driving license. We will also require a DVLA licence check code 1 week before your hire commences, this is a simple online process and details of how to obtain your code will be sent to you once the hire has been confirmed.
Non-UK License Holders. We welcome hirers from other shores. Please contact us with your details for us to pass on to our insurance company for them to quote for a Non-UK Licence holder.
Camping. You must agree to only camp in approved campsites, pitch up areas or certain counties and UK countries where wild camping is permitted. Do not leave our campervan unattended overnight.
Breakdowns. For peace of mind, your camper hire includes full breakdown and Roadside Assistance. In the unlikely event that one of our campers suffers a breakdown the information of the breakdown policy can be found in the glovebox of the vehicle. We would ask that you inform us ASAP if you have had to call the breakdown company.
Pets. One well behaved dog will be allowed at our discretion. A cleaning charge will be made.
Smoking. It is illegal to smoke in our hire vehicles, so we ask you to adhere to the strictly no smoking policy. This also applies to electric type smoking aids (vaping). Should any camper be found to have been smoked in, then a £200 cleaning charge will be taken from the deposit.
Bicycles. A bike rack can be fitted to each vehicle which holds 2 bikes + 2 children’s bikes. Bikes must not be placed inside the campervan and there would be no room for them inside. You will need to add this to your booking.
Leave your car with us. You are welcome to leave your car with us while you have a camper van on hire. It will be safe at our site, but we take no responsibility for your car in the event of damage or theft.
We are very happy to discuss any of these conditions with you so, again, please do contact us if you have any concerns or questions.
